About us
PURPOSE
BookItDFW is a non-profit founded as a means of facilitating the distribution of books across schools in Texas. As high schoolers ourselves, we realize the value that even one book can have. With books comes an opportunity to grow as individuals and students; the knowledge they provide inside and outside the classroom is simply invaluable. With the goal of creating the same opportunities for all individuals, we established BookItDFW for local communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In the process, we hope to create a more interconnected society that can support individual and collective educational pursuits.

Approval
The second step on our side is collecting books from students, teachers, and others who are willing to donate in our community.
Collection
Throughout and after the collection process, we communicate with the school to filter the books based on the guidelines given to us.
Communication
After the collection of the books and email updates throughout the process, we will deliver the textbooks to the school when available for drop-off.
Delivery

After a simple approval from the teachers or librarians of a school regarding the guidelines that must be followed, BookIt follows the various steps outlined to the left. From the collection to the delivery, BookIt covers everything step by step to make the process for schools as simple as possible.
